Great Downtown Eats
Ask to go on “The Champagne Tour” to reveal a stunning 1940’s speak-easy. Beautiful decor, amazing cocktails, and incredible vibes. Open Tues-Sat.
Massive, modern, upscale Italian market. Wine seminars, restaurants, gelato, authentic cappuccino, fresh groceries, etc.
*Highly recommend just browsing around, or going for coffee.
Mexican food, incredible patio, tableside guac service. In the heart of The Distillery District- a really cool, vintage, artisanal neighbourhood.
Brewereys, shops, cobblestone streets. etc.
Incredible Italian restaurant with beautiful decor. A little upscale but not crazy expensive.
Perfect for lunch, dinner, or late night drinks.
Kitchen and Bar with a massive outdoor patio. Great happy hour menu, 8min walk from the water taxis; perfect for post Hanlan’s beach snacks
Tapas style, handmade pastas, pizza, incredible desserts.
Ask for Nikki (bar manager) and tell him Connor sent you. They may print an Instagram photo onto an Espresso Martini if you ask nice.
Fantastic weekend brunch with a rooftop patio. Extremely popular, and they don’t take reservations.
*Highly recommend
Really great vegan food with a large international variety. Fun drinks, and cool vibes.
Touristy (but cool)
Absolute must-do on a nice day. Cobblestone streets, old-timey neighbourhood, but super charming and lots of artisan shops (soap, candles, cookies, etc).
Riverdale Park East at Broadview and Bain has a massive hill that overlooks the park, with the absolute best view of the cityscape. People always go at sunset and chill on the hill because it's that stunning.
Beautiful gardens, ponds, piers, bike rentals etc.
Pro tip: pay $13 for the water taxi (Island Taxi, Tiki Taxi), then take the ferry back to the mainland for free (leaves every 30-45 mins).
Big Toronto sign, great for pictures, cool to see for 5-10 mins, definitely pair it with a Dundas Square trip.
Cool neighbourhood with an eclectic restaurant scene. There's a massive fountain in a park with like 30 dog statues shooting water into it.
This neighbourhood is stunning, clean, and old money. Prada, Gucci, Luis Vutton, etc, but also really amazing coffee shops and gelato. There's a park with a giant rock that’s great to chill in.
